Retro/Vintage

I have 2 b probably the biggest hippie anyone in my family knows, they all know I'm totally in to the 1960s scene, as some would call it. So this blog is devoted to all things retro/vintage!

Some of the popular TV shows at the time include:

Music
When it comes to 1960s music, most of the music that dominated the 1960s was from the British Invasion era. Bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Dave Clark Five took America by storm and suddenly all these girls started screaming bloody murder for these guys from England. It wasn't just Brit rock that rocked America, it was also Motown, 'Message Songs', classic rock

Music
In the 70s, there was an abundance of disco music, dance music, and rock still continued to be popular, and some rock songs were even played in disco clubs,  and some songs were even inspired by disco club songs, like The Rolling Stones' song 'Miss You', which was inspired by the thumping beat of disco music. Also in the 1970s, punk rock began to emerge, with bands like the Ramones, The Sex Pistols.
