When it comes to the 1980s, not alot is known about this decade except for the fact that one of the Beatles, John Lennon, was brutally murdered in NYC by a guy posing as a fan!

Dec. 8, 1980: This day will live in infamy for every Beatles fan ever! This is the day that former Beatle John Lennon is burtally murdered by Mark David Chapman, a crazed gunman who posed as a fan. Lennon was shot 4 times in the back of the head in front of his Dakota Apartment building and evern worse, in front of his wife Yoko Ono. It must be horrible to just stand there and watch your husband be brutally murdered right in front of your eyes!
