Apocalypse Not Right Now... Reflections 2 Days Later

As the Post Apocalyptic Bohemian, I can’t help but think of the relief & remedy the $70 million + that Rev.Camping spent on vans & billboards announcing the Rapture could have brought to those in need around the globe. But of course, that would have actually been in the tradition of Christ.

Among those people who said they refused to get caught up in the hysteria was Florida pastor Terry Jones, who has generated controversy by burning, or threatening to burn, the Koran at public demonstrations.

Jones: "I think it's misfortunate, I've been a pastor for some 30 odd years & this has happened what some half-dozen times. People twist it & turn it to make it look like Christians are kind of nutty."

Walls Are The Publishers Of The Poor

I have reason to believe that the Husband is done for the moment, with the new silver leafed wall. I understand that he still has every intention of glazing the wall so that it is not quite so, well... SILVER. He tried having nothing on the wall, but feels that it works best with something besides the wall itself, to pull in the focus. At one point he displayed his Valentines Day gift to me, a wondrous & very personal assemblage, now in my workspace.

I am hoping to live with his current choice, my favorite Buddha. This really works for me. But, you know the Husband. I could return from work this evening to an entire new wall.
